Building up a nest egg takes quite some time as I’m sure you know, but how long would your nest egg last if your income stopped, or the family’s breadwinner died. They probably wouldn’t last as long as it took to build them up. Think about the money you have set aside then think about the cost of;
I’m sure there are probably a few things on that list that don’t apply to you, but I’m sure I probably missed a few that do. For a relatively small amount of money you could probably protect your savings and your lifestyle using either Life Insurance, Critical Illness cover or income protection, or even a clever combination of all 3.
