Paul Wilson has been in financial services for over a quarter of a century and has been an Independent Financial Adviser for almost 20 years.
In the early part of his career Paul worked for big name financial service companies such as Friends Provident. "While the grounding I received was excellent I always felt I could serve my clients better if I were not bound by the limitations of any particular life office's product range, so when the opportunity to become an Independent Financial Adviser came along I leapt at it"
Paul's philosophy is quite a simple one really and it has served him well over the years.
To be a great adviser clients must see you as a trusted friend to whom they can turn for advice during both the rough and smooth times. This sort of relationship doesn't happen over night it takes time. I pride myself on the fact that I am serving many clients now that I have been dealing with for the whole of my career. It's my job as an adviser to take all the jargon and complexities of the financial world and turn them in to simple jargon free concepts that my clients can understand. - Paul Wilson
